Anderson, South Carolina. Parlor Press LLC, a national award winner and leader in scholarly and trade book publishing, announces two new continuing book series edited by Victor E. Taylor, humanities author and professor and vice provost of graduate education and continuing studies at South Dakota State University.
Emerging Conversations on the Global Humanities focuses on newly emergent and critically reimagined concepts and expressions shaping and transforming humanities-based scholarship for the globally networked 21st century.
Critical Conversations in Higher Education Leadership features titles focusing on leadership challenges and opportunities across the higher education ecosystem in national and international contexts. Areas of inquiry include leading organizational change to models for effective and engaged shared governance.
“While the two series are very different in scope and content,” Taylor says, “they are connected by a strong emphasis on emergent and innovative writing to reframe perspectives and imagine new solutions to context-specific problems.”
Each series has an Advisory Board consisting of nationally and internationally distinguished scholars and writers.
